Lovely Lily!

I love love love my baby sister! Lily is a wonderful little girl. Always smiling and giggling! She stole my heart as soon as I saw her. I have never loved someone so much in my life. 

 

I remember driving to the hospital to meet Lily. I was scared. I now know that was silly. But the thought of having another person in my family was strange! It had been the same for sixteen years and it was a huge change.

I held Lily as soon as I arrived at the hospital. She was only twenty minutes old and smelled sweet. She was the prettiest little girl. 

 I loved being in the hospital with my momma! It was wonderful to spend alone time with just her and Lily. 

Two days later we were bringing little Lily home. 

I remember the first couple nights letting my mom sleep and rocking Lily in the rocking chair at night. It was the sweetest thing.

Now Lily is slowly growing up! It makes me sad but it's also neat to watch her grow. She's fun to play with now since she is not so breakable! 

She will be six months old this Saturday! Lily is aware of everything now! She can even sit up. She really likes playing with toys and jumping in her kangaroo. Just keeps getting cuter every day! 

 

I'm going to post something about Lily every month! It will be a nice way to look back and remeber all the wonderful details of her life!
